The Switchboard Project
The Switchboard Project brings together painters, poets, musicians and other visual and performing artists to co-design and co-deliver a series of exhibitions and arts events in Brisbane.
Our program is steered by the people taking part in it. There are no curators other than the participating artists. We are artist led and artist delivered.
Our 2021 season was born out of two workshops hosted in December 2020 and January 2021. Over forty artists took part in these deliberative discussions. We started with a brainstorming session and finished with a program of sold out quarterly events that we are now delivering.
You don’t have to be a Switchboard member to get involved, you just need the desire to make great art!
